NVIDIA to manufacture American-made AI supercomputers in US for first time

NVIDIA has announced plans to manufacture AI supercomputers entirely in the U.S. for the first time. The company is collaborating with partners to establish over a million square feet of manufacturing space in Arizona and Texas, where NVIDIA Blackwell chips are already in production. Mass production of AI supercomputers is expected to ramp up within 12-15 months.

NVIDIA aims to produce up to $500 billion in AI infrastructure over the next four years, which is anticipated to create hundreds of thousands of jobs. The initiative is intended to strengthen supply chain resilience and meet the growing demand for AI technologies. CEO Jensen Huang emphasized the importance of American manufacturing in supporting this new AI industry.
