Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has launched an AI company called Humain, aimed at enhancing the country’s AI infrastructure, including data center construction. This announcement coincides with a U.S.-Saudi investment forum attended by prominent figures like Elon Musk, Sam Altman, Mark Zuckerberg, and former President Trump.

Humain is backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), which manages around $940 billion and is part of the Crown Prince’s strategy to diversify the economy beyond oil. American tech companies, including Google and Salesforce, have also collaborated with the PIF on AI initiatives.
