Salesforce buys Moonhub, a startup building AI tools for hiring

Salesforce has acquired Moonhub, a startup focused on AI tools for recruitment and hiring. Although Moonhub initially announced that its entire team would join Salesforce, it later clarified that only some members would be included, as the company is shutting down.

Founded by ex-Meta engineer Nancy Xu in 2022, Moonhub developed tools to help companies streamline the hiring process, including candidate identification and onboarding. This acquisition aligns with Salesforce's strategy to enhance its AI capabilities, following recent purchases like Informatica and Convergence .ai. AI adoption in hiring is increasing, with many companies integrating such tools into their HR practices.
