America’s most brilliant minds in Congress have recently discovered something rather significant: those incredibly powerful AI chips manufactured by Nvidia. Despite being banned, they continue to find their way into China. Consequently, one lawmaker has proposed a measure to make Nvidia’s chips trackable, akin to AirTags for AI, and even have the ability to shut them down if they are found in unauthorized locations.

The technology required for this implementation is already integrated into the chips. Nvidia asserts that they cannot track these chips after they are sold, but lawmakers believe it is time to rectify this situation. The significance of this matter lies in the fact that these same chips can be utilized to construct a wide range of applications, from chatbots to weapons, ranging from minor to potentially hazardous.
